About The Elements Interactive
The Elements Interactive is a project that stemmed from a vision I had of interacting with the Periodic table of Elements in 3D space. My initial thoughts, since I am a visual learner, were that perhaps by interacting, using, & studying the table in 3D space it may help the user organize information spatially in his/her mind. I also thought the visual implementation may appeal to a younger audience attracting kids to Chemistry (the final target audience is not yet determined).
I envision the end-product to be a virtual lab where the user can interact with and use the various elements. I see the user being able to drag and drop elements into a designated area (a beaker perhaps) where the resulting reactions will be displayed via video or a 3D animation. A breakdown of what occurred in the reaction would be displayed as well.
I have many ideas about improving this project and taking it to new levels, and I'm curious as to what others have to say. Ideally I would like to work
with some Chemistry experts or professors that see potential in this application. If you are one of these contact me at...

I envision this project expanding greatly, but I want it to be practical and useful. Right now I am
not convinced it is at that stage. As a result I am releasing this beta version and hope to get some feedback, suggestions, critique, and comments regarding
the application. If comments and suggestions are promising and time permits, I will continue to work on the project.
